Installing a Tethered Sensor and Powering on a Node

To install a tethered sensor and power on a node:

  1. Adhere the tethered sensor to the equipment.

    Note: The installation process for tethered sensors is identical to the sensor mote installation. Refer to the "Installing a Sensor Mote" video for instructions.

  2. Insert the sensor cable into an open port on the node and tighten the fastener securely to ensure a proper connection.

  3. Open the cap on the node and insert the batteries. 

  4. Confirm that the light sequence begins, indicating the node is powered on and communicating with the gateway.

  5. Securely close the cap.
