Installing a Sensor Mote

Note: Before you begin, obtain the required PPE and the Loctite 330 epoxy kit. Also, verify the correct sensor mote placement and orientation with a Waites analyst. 

To install a sensor mote:

  1. Apply the epoxy directly to the base of the sensor mote.
  2. Spray the activator onto the epoxy.
  3. Press the sensor mote into its designated place and hold it steady for 3 to 5 minutes.
  4. Give the sensor mote a firm tug to ensure it is securely attached to the equipment.
